Quick Thoughts About The Pats

Well I'm sure like most Patriot fans I was in a bit of a funk last night. I wasn't sure they were going to beat the Steelers, but I thought it would at least be a game.

The beginning of the end was not Slater's fumble of the kickoff, right? That bad feeling in my stomach began when the Pats couldn't score on their last drive in the first half.

I'm not going to excuse the play of the cornerbacks or the safeties, but the lack of a pass rush is really what is killing the Pats D. Even last week in the win over Miami, Pennington had all day. If you get some pressure on Big Ben he will make mistakes. The Pats really missed AD and Ty Warren.

I guess the trade Brady and keep Cassel talk will die down for a bit this week.

Did Matt Light get suspended for the game and did they give his jersey to someone else?

Welkahhh is a tough guy to walk off the field after that cheap shot, but I think he was asking himself why Miami was so cold and rainy this time of year.

At least the Pats were consistent on both sides of the ball on 3rd down.

The Yellow Terrible Towel is by far the most annoying thing in sports. The DEEEEE-TRIOOOOOT BAAAAAAAA-SKET BAAAAAALLLL Guy or the Hip-Hip Jorge Chant at Yankee Stadium can't even hold a candle to it.

The Jets loss yesterday should make me feel better, but it only makes it worse.
